cd: comfort noise catalogue: dream 36 (2006)
"Comfort Noise" consists of twelve summery, poppy songs with self-made drumsamples, groovy basslines, fuzzy guitars, jumpy synth-lines and the sweet and sensual vocals and heavenly backing choruses of girl-singer Martine.

These elements combined with an extremely detailed and open production full of sound-wonders shows the band breaking away from the lo-fi/indie sound of their debut CD "Duotone" (2004 Transformed Dreams), taking the listener on a magic carpet ride direction Pop-land, making "Comfort Noise" the ideal album for joyful sunny days and long lush evenings.

cd-ep: tune-up catalogue: dream 31 (2005)
The four new songs on "Tune-Up" show a slight change of direction from their well-received debut album "Duotone" (in the UK released on 02/03/04).
The songs "Happy", "She Cuts a Dash" and "Sofa Adventures" are straightforward guitarry popsongs added with electronics, while the song "Mellow" is a psychedelic electronics trip, all of course with the sensuous, sweet girl vocals of Martine.
At the same time Persil have managed to become more pop and experimental, this time in separate songs.

cd: duotone catalogue: dream 31 (2005)
The band’s sound can be described as electro-pop with fuzzy guitars and sensuous, sweet vocals. The songs, which are based on inventive self-produced samples and groovy bass lines, sound playful, joyful and summery, while the lyrics are lightly ironical.
The use of a wide spectrum of twisted sounds adds to a light, dreamy atmosphere and gives the ‘three-minute pop songs’ a psychedelic touch.
With ‘Duotone’ Persil prove that for writing catchy pop songs no clichés are needed, but that originality and inventiveness are the main ingredients.
The song ‘Traces of Knots’ is a duet with Damon of American chimp rockers The Swirlies.
